Dog Walking
Hi Snowflake Members and Members’ Mutts:
Sometimes, you might think we love your dogs as much as we love our members. George says, sometimes he loves your dogs more! While Duluth debates whether to increase the number of dog parks, we would like you to know that the trails are open for dog walking for members and their dogs — on or off lead. In order to have this be a good experience, please note the following:
1. You must be a member of Snowflake — no visiting mutts allowed, please.
2. You must scoop up after your dog(s), so bring a bag for this.
3. If your dog has a problem with other dogs, please make sure that you consider the safety of all concerned and control your pet.
4. Although we permit members’ dogs, we will hold each of you responsible for the behavior of your pet while on Snowflake grounds.
5. We have campers during the summer, so please respect their privacy and their campsites. No trolling for treats!
6. Be aware that there are swamps, so if you don’t want Fido to get mucky, use a lead!
7. We still don’t allow biking on the trails, it is how we preserve our snow for skiing, so this invitation is for walking members only.
Have fun, we know you will do your best to keep Snowflake beautiful!
